Let's get dirty| ALEXANDER WANG FW 2011 campaign

Raquel Zimmerman gets dirty (but still classy) for Alexander Wang's Fall/Winter 2011/12 ad campaign. Lensed by Fabian Baron, Zimmerman stomps around in a wet, graffiti infested, dilapidated located where the only thing that keeps her looking like the Raquel that we know are the beautiful garments of Mr. Wang.

Here is the promotional video for the campaign which will be displayed on building sides all over NYC from 07/21/11-07/22/11.

Louis Vuitton| Spring 2011 Campaign!

So I recently posted a piece featuring a plethora of pictures of the 2011 spring campaigns from different fashion houses but, I wanted to save my favorite for last. Here's is a look at the Louis Vuitton spring 2011 campaign.

In what appears to be an episode of the geisha gone wrong, mega models Freja Beha Erichsen, Raquel Zimmermann and Kristen McMenamy showcase the latest collection of LV by Marc Jacobs.

The return of color| Gucci SS2011

If this is any indication as to what the major trends for Spring/Summer 2011 will look like then we will be seeing a lots and lots of color! Gucci came running out the gate this week at Milan Fashion Week with vibrant color blocking techniques. But staying true to the essence of the brand, they did not forget their roots; sophisticated luxury was still eminent in most of the collection which was emphasized by gold belts and embellishments and leather.

The casting agent for this show should also be commended. Literally every relevant supermodel in today's industry walked Gucci's runway. This list included Raquel Zimmermann, Freja Beha, Joan Smalls, Chanel Iman, Kasia Struss and Abbey Lee Kershaw!

It just doesn't get much better than Gucci....

Behind the scene: Gareth Pugh FW 2010 Fashion Film

Always one to think outside of the box designer Gareth Pugh has teamed up with Ruth Hogben, Katie Shillingford and super model Raquel Zimmermann to create an out-of-this-world fashion film! This film will feature some of the most powerful designs from Gareth’s fall/winter 2010 collection from Paris Fashion Week. The inspiration for the concept of the film comes from old Hollywood glamor BUT with a twist of the old Pugh weirdness. Glamorous yet Macabre, luxurious yet gargoyleon-esque (I should start my own dictionary, no?). Well those are the best words I can use to describe this upcoming artistic look at the underground world of fashion.

I.am’DYING to see the finished product. We may have lost McQueen but thank God we still have Pugh to shake things up!
