Great news! You can now own a piece of the historic glamor icon Marilyn Monroe! Julien’s Actions has organized probably what will be one of the most anticipated auctions of personal and professional property in recent history!
The auction will feature a variety of items of the glamazon including the chair she used in her final photo shoot, unreleased photographs of Monroe on her honeymoon with Joe DiMaggio, handwritten notes between Monroe and her therapist Dr. Greenson and personal Pucci clothing gifted to Dr. Greenson’s daughter. But the item that I and probably most people are interested in is her personal bottle of Chanel No.5 perfume which will also be auctioned. Chanel No. 5 became synonymous with the sexpot after she was asked in 1954 “what do you wear to bed”. Her reply: “Five drops of Chanel No. 5 only.”
