From Gothic to rock n’ roll and plaid to animal print- Vivienne Westwood was again able to give her fans and followers a sensational show at her AW 2010/11 Red Label Collection.
Day three of London Fashion Week which kicked off on February 19th was owned by the British designer. She is probably one of the few designers that I’ve seen this season who has showcased an extremely versatile collection featuring pieces suitable for almost every type of style genre in-fashion today. The inspiration for this collection appeared to be based on a “go-green”/doomsday theme as translated by one of the t-shirts which read “Loyalty 2 Gaia” among several others.
Also presented in the collection were t-shirts dedicated to helping women and children in Haiti which manifested as a result of the last minute collaboration with Naomi Campbell.
